Swimming
Stoneridge/Sedgefield Swim and Racquet Club, Inc.
The S/SSRC summer swimming season begins Memorial Day weekend and extends until the onset of cool weather in late September. Our 88,000-gallon pool has lap lanes, 2 diving boards and a large 2-foot shallow section for pre-swimmers. The pool deck is furnished for sunbathing, having a family dinner or lounging under a sunshade or umbrella.

Our Life Guard Staff is certified by the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.  The Lifeguards are on duty during all pool hours to insure your safety. Water Safety Instructors are on staff conducting Red Cross aquatics courses for all levels and ages. Both group and private lessons are available during the summer months.

We have a swim team each year which partners  with another area club to compete as a combined team at summer league meets. While the swim team experience can be competitive it is also an opportunity to make friends and to improve strokes and self-confidence.

Throughout the pool season there are a variety of activities for everyone. Some of the season’s activities include adult swims, early morning lap swims, family nights, themed potluck dinners and Moonlight Swims.
