Club History
Stoneridge/Sedgefield Swim and Racquet Club, Inc.
Situated on 8.5 wooded acres in the Stoneridge development of Chapel Hill, is the Stoneridge/Sedgefield Swim and Racquet Club, Inc. The S/SSRC provides swimming, tennis, croquet, basketball and an array of other year-round activities and programs.
The club was purchased in 1995 by the Stoneridge/Sedgefield Property Owner’s Association and is leased and operated by the S/SSRC, Inc. S/SSRC is governed by a Board of Directors, elected by the members. The non-profit organization employs a professional manager who operates the facility for the enjoyment of its members.
Membership is open to both residents of the Stoneridge/Sedgefield neighborhoods and the public.
The S/SSRC offers a place for families, couples and singles to play, stay fit, relax and enjoy fellowship among friends in a casual community atmosphere.
